*flops exhausted*

Good grief. Drove up there this year, and our b&b had bad plumbing which meant the sinks bubbled loudly every 6am, so was so so tired all the way through, but meh, who sleeps at a con? xD;

I must admit this year was pretty mixed for me, but there were a lot of awesome points about it.

Friday:

Drove up in the morning in cosplay which was hell, and then the queue for registration was a shambles, but meh. Managed to get in, set up my bring and buy and the prints I had for sale, then went around with my friend ~AuthorFiona (who was cosplaying Olette). I was cosplaying Kyonko, who you've seen before, so not much point in me putting up photos of that xD
Spent the afternoon and evening hanging out with *luperus (whee! I got to see you again!) and *Koutetsu, who I met for the first time irl! ^^ Swapped sketches, ate cake, it was all good xP Spent Friday evening watching anime, :3

Saturday:
The weather was so appalling! T___T I straightened my hair so carefully but by the time we'd walked twenty minutes to the convention site it was a big poofy mess ;_; Ah well. Cosplaying was uber fun this day, and I sat in the Artist's Alley to do my entry to the competition, went for a TTGL photoshoot at lunchtime and then off to watch the show itself in the video room (LOL I forgot how funny ep 4 was despite the fact it looked like ass xD; I don't normally rewatch that one because of it). In the evening was the J-pop/Anime disco, which whilst not quite as good as last year was still immense fun once they fixed the sound system ^^ However I will now forever have the Katamari Damacy tune in my head ;_;

Yoko~ I so love this cosplay. And tough luck, I wanted to wear the warmest outfit she has xP A massive thanks should go to my friend Nick, who made the gun for me, but the rest of it I did all myself Boot covers are hell to do T_T

Sunday: Got back to the b&b at 2.30am after the disco, immediately had to wash my hair, and then try let it dry a bit. I didn't go to bed until 3.45.... and was up again at 7.30 in order to sort out mine and Huw's cosplay for the Persona photoshoot at 10.30 xD; Sleep is for the weak!
Mitsuru's boots though were just... ow. I was super super pleased with how her skirt came out, and it was definitely the most effort I've put in so far to cosplay But by 3pm I could barely hobble, after Yoko's too-small boots the previous day, and unfortunately it crippled me for the ball T_T So even though I brought my pretty dress, in the end I just wore casuals, took my Shiro plushie and my anime accessories, and went upstairs to limp around and sing karaoke xD Sang God Knows from Haruhi Suzumiya, which has one of the catchiest guitar solos around. Woohoo ^^

The most awesome ~cat-cat was there in her P4 cosplay to take pictures of us, and she took all the ones below! <3


Downstairs in the foyer. It's a real shame we missed meeting up with a Yukari and Junpei who were coming along ;_; But everyone looked so great! Poor Orpheus as well could barely cope with the stairs xD But he rocked.


The stairwell we found for the shoot was so super atmostpheric of Tartarus. We kept looking for the access point. xD


Down with Strega! Actually, the Chidori there was great fun, I really enjoyed chatting with her ^^
